So.....I am noticing these are all white no?.......except the 85....
I am.curious tho.....as the ones I saw on there that had a drainpipe.....are 82s and 83s.....
I may need to do more research....but having the frame, fork AND seatpost and bars seems to be a premium.....or I am just hoping! lol
Pardon my ignorance.....I did see em. Seems the XL24 is a rare breed......
Wow.....not cheap either! I wonder if that's the place to try and sell it.....
Curious what this is and if it's worth buying.
Nothing on the ad but it does use the word Riviera..... the frame is odd and shifter may give it away I hope. Ad states fork is slightly bent, and asks $200.
Any ideas?
^^^ suuuuure Jason, sure. Jk
And yes welcome indeed. RRB is filled with alot of knowledge and great people helping those find what they need, parts, bikes, or knowledge.
Finally got em in hand now Jason! The Hutch is stupid light! I was impressed with the fact it does have original Hutch bars and seatpost too. Being that the XL24 came F/F in the early years someone stepped up big in the day!
Visiting family this weekend and came back with three bikes!
1-60s Sears 26" cruiser, not a spaceliner, but hv to do more research on it
2-1985 GT 24" cruiser
3-1986 Hutch XL24
Gotta lot of work to do!:rockout:
Kinda of my thinking too Jason, and thank you. Only questioned it as the guide is a bit different material/shine than the clamp itself.
And yes good catch as the brakes were in fact upgraded in 92.....
