    RRBBO13 THICK as a BRICK <Last peek!>

Baby steps... I really need to get this front rim laced up to see if it causes any issues, but I noticed this clean raised center on the front rim with no spoke holes and thought it needed something. I found this tape at Walmart that is about the same color as the frame, so I thought I'd give it...

First video is up. It just describes the bike and the build-off to people who may be unfamiliar with either one:

    RRBBO13 52 Pickup

I'm envisioning some kind of device that funnels an entire deck of playing cards into the spokes and shoots them everywhere.

RRBBO13 ○〇◯ Holeshot ◯〇○ What... Me Worry? FINISHED Trek CNC Rail Checkered Chopper

Diggin' it already. I wanted to use a four spring fork on my build, but they're not easy to find, or cheap when you do find them.

    RRBBO13 THICK as a BRICK <Last peek!>

......aaaaand, done: Seriously though...I know it's a cool bike to begin with, but I think I can make it way cooler. If not, the idea is to be able to return it to its stock form as you see here. I don't think that will happen, but if it really doesn't turn out like it looks in my head I...

RRB BO 13 Discussion Thread....feeling lucky?

If that's going to be the shirt, would be cool to be able to order and get it before some of us start vlogging our builds.

    New ? 26" mags , Cruiser , w/apes

Looks like a 4th grade boys drawing of a bike, but to each their own I guess. Those look like wheelchair wheels.

RRB BO 13 Discussion Thread....feeling lucky?

Has anyone "officially" revealed the bike they are using, or what they are planning to do yet? I'm getting pretty excited about mine. Thinking about doing an "unboxing" video reveal of all the parts I have been getting in the mail. I am starting with a new bike and mostly bolting different...

    Felt fatty cruiser...

Not new at all. 2015 model that was discontinued December 2017. I just bought one last weekend. Bike store had it a year and a half, ordered it special for someone but they found a better deal while it was in transit from Felt. They kept marking it down until I couldn't resist. Planning to...

    Central Ohio Bike Swap 2018

Sunday, March 18 at the Frankilin County Fairgrounds in Hilliard Ohio. Can't find a link right now, but I believe it "starts" at 11am tomorrow. Get there earlier if you still want to reserve a spot ($15, indoors or outdoors, they should still have plenty of space) or if you want to help people...

Best Fat Bike in the $400.-$600. range?

Best? Or coolest? At $599 it's at the upper end of your price range, but I will very likely be purchasing one of these for myself for my 50th birthday. I have plans to non-invasively customize it, but when the dust settles I will have close to $1000 into it, so I'm still on the fence about...

    Swap Meet Louie

Just an update to say...there probably won't be any more updates. May continue this as a build in the future, but it became more involved than I have time and money for, so I am bowing out. Peace!

Yeah, but I don't think they'll fit without a lot of work. I think my best bet is going to reverse-mount something with a deep offset.

    Swap Meet Louie

So, by my count I have 58 "extra" wheels or tires at my disposal, yet, as near as I can tell, I can't come up with two that match that I have two tires that will fit for this project: I know, first world problems, right?

    Swap Meet Louie

I was worried about the axle size, but I figure as long as the trike is on the ground the axles are still supporting the same weight, whether it's bmx wheels or car wheels holding the trike up. It's when you pick it up off the ground that all that extra weight becomes a problem.

    Swap Meet Louie

So, I have an idea to mount the car wheels, and in true rat-rodder fashion I've been looking around the shop for some donor metal, but haven't found anything yet. Looking for some sort of steel plate to make adapters from. Was going to go "Goodwill hunting" for something to use, but decided to...

Post cool stuff you see in Build-Off 12!

I started this a while back, then Kingfish took over for a while, but he seems to be preoccupied this time around. Anything cool or unique you see going on, post it here. It's hard to keep up with every single build thread, so if something cool is being done, bring some attention to it! Only...

    Swap Meet Louie

Well, brake mechanism was no big deal. Even though it has a bend in it, it slid right out: Axle is larger than 14mm, so using a bmx hub as-is won't work, but it doesn't have to spin, so if you take the bearing cups out: But the axle is too short: Shame, 'cause I have two of these...
