Got my other basket brackets welded up today. Shortened the cart handle and mounted it up as well between the two sides... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

City Cyclery on Lincoln Rd. in Old Walkerville, just north of Wyandotte St. Ask Brad there to take you into the basement where they store all the vintage project stuff. He's the one with the red beard. :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You have to hit that Vintage Bike show and swap meet outside of A'Burg. It's sometime in August, I think. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That's what I was thinking. A shortened cart handle will fit directly behind the seat. The clamp is actually covering the mounting points. And the plan is to put a separate long narrow basket in between them. I have to have all of the assemblies easily removable to get access to remove the rear...

Welded a 1/4" bolt onto each side of the frame that match up to the existing holes that mounted the cart to the cart frame so now somewhat mounted. Need to make a few more mounting brackets though to keep them from pivoting forward and backward and fill in the fronts with more cart grid. Sent...

Thanks OddJob, I'll kept that in mind. (I may get it from you for my CCM build next go around.) I've got a springed saddle on it now. It's not a hairpin though. Not sure I can get much more layback in the post though. It would push the upcoming "saddlebags" back too far... still have more...

Got the basic roller all together today and took for a short test flight. The bars and seat will get switched out but other than that, at least it moves with no apparent issues (so far). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

As the time moves on toward the finish line, I guess I should spend a little less time flying around clad in Lycra on my carbon fibre road warriors and some more time fabricating, lol Alternate one piece crank in place... And inevitably, a chain line clearance issue with the frame. Modified it...

After doing a thorough once over after getting it home, noting the serial number and using very hi-tech radiometric carbon dating techniques (aka Google, lol), it would appear that this abandoned to the elements CCM frameset dates from 1924, I think the "Model Six". Back to the bike shop...
