Project 346 nothing rides as nice

Got to give a big thank to Chuck for hooking me up with the new nipples. The wheels are done, very pleased with the end result. I still have to clean the front tire and may rebuild the front wheel with 12g spokes beause compared to the rear the 14g spokes look small. here they are

Picked up the wheels from the polisher, I'll build one tonight after the kids go to bed.

Here are a few pics of what the work I tried to do yesterday nothing exciting, ended up taking the race off because I’m going to use a different headset. Chrome fasteners, because it’s all in the details. Wheels got dropped off at the polisher should be done next Friday.

Messed with the fork a little this evening, was going to try and install it to make sure everything was right unfortunately I have the wrong head set. So thanks to eBay one is on the way. I also got the rim out to drop off at the polisher.

Thank you i'll have to look at those in detail ,he has it set up right.The cruiser shop did it by cutting the lower spring but their final angles are not correct.

That is a great question finally got to talk to Gary from 3g beacuse I belive I have to cut the springs to get it to work right. He gave me some advise of of fulling installing the steer tube and try working from that. If that does not work im going to have to take spring assembly to a muffler...

Nope those are part of another project that this waiting paint.

I can't get the ride height right on the fork, so I'm going to install a head set and take the fork apart to get everything dialed in.
