i believe your trike is a trike made by royal enfield of england, they made lots of trikes in the early sixties under various names i have a picture of a friend of mines trike i cleaned up for his wife last year this one has the single bar for an older person to walk thru rather than the two bar...

do yourself a favor, put 5 1/2 inch crankarms on it with 46 front 18 rear you will like it. :D

thanks guys, someone told me to use a cutoff wheel on the slots, then use a block of wood to spread them. i just wanted to get some answers from somebody that did it before. :D

what do all you guys use to make the axle slots on a fork bigger ? i mean if you have a 5/16 axle and a standard fork and want to use a bmx wheel with 3/8 axle what do you use to make the slots bigger? also what do you use to widen the fork to spread it for a wider axle? :?:

i had the same problem on a bike once and it turned out to be the grease inside the hub turned to glue holding the brake shoes against the hub. i took the hub apart and cleaned it and regreased it and now it works great!

yes do what the other guys said to do, and what i do also is i put a small piece of scotch tape around the shims in the center of the shims to hold them in place for you and once they are in the stem you won't see the tape. it gives you an extra set of hands! :D

see if there is a bulb in it and make sure it is not a dummy light, if there is a bulb in it take it out and read the side of the bulb it should say what the voltage is. if the light is from a car it is 12 volts so a 9 volt batt should lite it up. take the red wire and hook it to the + terminal...

that's correct, the three bar is the duke it's a boys frame, the two bar frame is the duchess it's a girls frame, it doesn't matter to me because it's such a cool design frame and it turns heads when i ride it. have fun and welcome to the site. there are great people here and they love to buy...

if you want to get rid of the three bar frame i would love to have it ! let me know!
