Got busy with other things and wasn't able to get this one "done" in time. Struggled with adjusting the 2 speed, it wants to slip out of high gear. Not going to ride it in that condition, so it will remain untested until I can get back to it. Oh well, I had fun anyway. :thumbsup:

This is way cool. Crusty muscle bikes don't seem to catch on. I've got a '68 Stingray that's more crusty than this. Rides like a dream and if the perfect swap meet rider. Would love to have this fastback, did you end up getting it?

Possibly a sprint fastback sprocket? It looks really large. Should say "Sprint" on it if it is.

Finally got some time to work on this ol gal. The rear wheel is done, put the guts in it a couple days ago, got it all trued up last night and today. I'm still working on the cable adjustment, it's tricky and precise. Still have some cleanup and fine tuning to do and have only ridden it around...

I'm gonna see how the 2 speed Bendix does and then attempt to take it on some local trails. Most of where I'll ride is flat, but the trails have some hills that will test me and the bike both up and down.

Went over to my brothers tonight to pick up my spokes, stayed there and spoked it up. Everything went together great, need to throw the guts in it and true it up.

I must say, I really don't like those bikes, but that one is sweet!

Haven't really done anything on this since I got the Bendix cleaned up. Waiting for spokes to arrive, my plan of getting some from my brother through trade fell through, but he did get me some coming! Need to pull the crank and sprocket out and clean them up, spray the frame with clear or just...

That frame is really cool.

Got the hub pieces all degreased and cleaned. Everything looks good so far, should go back together nicely. I think I've got some spokes lined up, they're black, but not costing me any money. Just trading :thumbsup:. Looking closer at the front wheel, it's been respoked with thicker spokes...

Got the hub cut out of the s7 to clean it up, rebuild and prep to lace up in my s2. Never taken one of these apart before. Wasn't bad at all and a lot less parts than I was expecting.

Yes. I'm keeping this in mind. It all depends on what colors I already have mixed up that need used up. Have to check still.

Awesome job on the saddle! I started messing with leather myself last year and have been toying with the idea of messing around to see what I could come up with for some saddles.
