This was a particularly tough one that put off a lot of heat during removal. Would NOT have been able to get post out without this fix!

Re: GOOD NIGHT NURSE! -- SALE OF ALL SALES
These Texas boy's are going to run a cool show and I just hope they do well for their family. Us locals will show great support tomorrow and I would encourage people everywhere to come on down to get a few bikes.... they will never run out.
I hope a lot of people will drive on down and get some of these bikes. Even if u live out of state. I live in the neighborhood and will help move some but folks should drive in Just to see this.... there are many more bikes than the photographs show! All priced right!
Thanks for the looks ratts. This one is a lot lighter than the other Elgin using aluminum bars, ladies pedals, featherweight stand, and smallish tires. The seat has less bulk and the addition of 61' fenders from a Sears flightliner was choice.
Walker sent me this on Friday AM
Want to do all bare metal and chrome
The frame and fork got worked on Friday afternoon
Did up the hairpin saddle Friday night
Built the mock up on Saturday
Gonna go with a solid skiptooth chain wheel, Diamond chain, dogleg crank & vintage patina...
Nicky's three day whip
Day one: The idea is a 3spd storm tunnel rider with low bars/seat and mtn bike tires
Day two: The build up of the frame and rear 3spd wheel
Day three: Completed!
When in got hot here in Texas this summer we just rode where it's cool... in the miles of storm drains under downtown.
Some of the tunnels are over 100 years old using all natural limestone.
One borked Elgin fork.
Badly bent when compared to a undamaged one.
Multiple angles to straighten out on the tube and each leg.
Now you take a GMC 1500
Add a innovative Texan.
One tiedown.
A rig.
Some cowboy physics.
Bring to a boil and serve straight.
Any questions?
