Re: Touch of Trash! I painted the frame today, first I put down some Rustoleum "Hammered" paint, wet sanded it with 1000 grit and then sprayed this color over it. HATE IT! My skills with body filler require something that covers a little better :lol: I'll wet sand it again tomorrow and use the...

Re: Touch of Trash! I've been thinking about that. mabey you could use parts off an office chair, one of those hydraulic types that lifts and lowers when you pull the lever.

I'm guessing this was probably manufactured in the mid-to-late fifty's? Can anyone narrow it down? And what would this one be? This one's a July, 1952 Schwinn, needs a little TLC. I picked these up for $40 today. They should all be good projects or parts bikes. Thanks :wink:

Looks good, I like the stance.

You might try to post to the wanted section here, someone may have a fender that would work, or could be made to work. I'd have a hard time cutting that fender, with the history of the bike I wouldn't do anything I couldn't reverse. You may also find that a newer bike fender could be modified...
