Any ideas how those would work on a 27.5 with a 32t front sprocket?

    Coaster Brake + Freewheel possible?

Unfortunately around me is pretty lackluster on marketplace. Though I have to wonder if anyone has experiance using just two gears since part of the idea behind kickshif and coaster is to simplfy things. I mean if i'm gonna do something dumb, do it right.

    Coaster Brake + Freewheel possible?

Hm, Interesting. How does a seven speed geared hub work? The kickshift I saw only had two gears to go between. So what back click with left pedal to shfit down and right pedal to shift up? Also while the prices seem a bit high... That's replacing a gearshift, brake, derailiur, gearset, and is...

    Coaster Brake + Freewheel possible?

It's not that i NEED all those gears it's more 'huh lets see what my options are' Gonna try some laps with two or three gears (gear's two through four) to see how things feel.

    Coaster Brake + Freewheel possible?

Having seen that a 27.5' wheel that also has rim brake surfaces seems to be a bit ofa unicorn right now. I've decided 'why not look at this from another perspective?' My brother had said 'hey why not just run it without rear brakes?' 'Well that's stupid' was my first thought, which I hadn't...

New Guy with a (Don't Laugh) Walmart Bike

Well it isn't dead on true, but considering it doesn't hit either of the brake pads when rolling..... My concern now is that it will just go back to broke after putting some weight on it for a few rides.

Well. my back wheel is beyond my ability to fix. Tried fiddling with a spoke wrench and didn't get anywhere. took the whole wheel off to get a better look at hte problem and... the thing is very visibly bowed out bad enough I'm going to have t otake it to a professional. May just be better to...

Given the spoke wrench tol is arriving tomorrow? I'm going to give this a try, any advice given my eyes are.... not that great? I'm well aware the wheel will never be 'true' but still. it not constantly wanting to go even worse out of warp would be great.

The frame itself is honestly really nice. HEAVY, but out of what I was offered? I wanted the simplicity of a hardtail. No bells. No whistles. Hardtail. Literally a case of 'I slammed the rear tire and am not a light guy.'

The freewheel remover is listed as being for shimano. I mean... that's no gurentee but *shrug* I know that the current wheel will never go back to true, but y'know. Make it work as long as it can and learn from it. Slamming full weight in a hole isn't good for a wheel, especially on a hard tail...

New Guy with a (Don't Laugh) Walmart Bike

Went to take bike out for a spin. rear wheel basically is BADLY warped likely from me going through rutted fields and the fact I'd bounced on a hole probably didn't help. My little brother sooorta got it in a rolling shape but like... the redneck method of reshaping. Crowbar. It rolls, but I...

    Rust Never Sleeps

Here is hoping you don't accidentilly or otherwise break anything in the process. That.... I think I'm getting tetnus just from LOOKING at that thing, and for a vet of these boards to comment on the amount of rust? That... is CONCERNING.

[help wanted] Best focus to make an ACTUAL Huffy Parkside SE

No real change after making sure the noodle was fully seated. Back brakes work as they are, but at the same time the cockeyed nature of them leaves me... unhappy. I suppose next step, as i lack alignment tools, is to take the pivots off and reinstall?

[help wanted] Best focus to make an ACTUAL Huffy Parkside SE

Well I am seeing the part that you're talking about the derailleur hangs off of and it's like ten bucks so like... not horrible. Any advice on what to look for with brake pads?

[help wanted] Best focus to make an ACTUAL Huffy Parkside SE

So what your'e saying is that for the time being the back brakes are fine so long as they're doing their job consistently? Weird that it's showing up as a muted gold in that picture given the bike's listed as sage green. I am glad that the creaking at the front fork has gone. Didn't even...

Sorry for the image glut. Just wanted to show the things i made adjustments to and have questions about. Front brakes? Awesome work great love it. Back brakes? They work well, but just look at that. They look lopsided, that don't look right to me. Thoughts on the stem and front cable...
