I'm packing it in (or how to cut your bike in half)

Everyone says hinges but no one agrees that the bike will fold neatly or in an uneven awkward lump. I thought of it but didn't want to bother with the engineering of it. It's much to simple just to stack the two halves. Fits my needs. I do have another AZ build called the Meridian and with a...

2011 Human Powered Vehicle Festival (Ayer, MA)

I missed that and she was pretty amazing, nice lady. What you didn't get a picture of is when I  fell off Stevil's tall bike, you were standing there when that happened. It was an ugly moment for me but I walked away from it. The next day I took my double high out for a spin just to...

I'm packing it in (or how to cut your bike in half)

Re: I'm packing it in.......... Had a good time at the HPVF event in Ayer yesterday. The break down frame worked well. You have to be willing to take 10 minutes to set it up while taking another 10 minutes to answer questions while you put the bike together. I thought that the frame might have...

2011 Human Powered Vehicle Festival (Ayer, MA)

KZ....the part that you missed is when that guy had asked very bravely to try KOTA's bike and I heard the speech about the learning curve before so I butted in the best way that I could and asked the guy to try my bike instead. KOTA had plenty of time to run off ...... could have, would have...

I'm packing it in (or how to cut your bike in half)

Yup, I'm packing it in. I have been wanting to do this for three years now and KOTA has set me in motion. I was following a build from KOTA and saw he stole the chain guide from me and I gave some free advice about remote steerage (which he said thanks) and did some cool thing with chain rings...

Bump de bump bump thud  ........... This weekend........calling out some Rat Rodders to stop by this event. This is in, for some of you, your back yard. If you don't attend you will have to do the walk of shame while doing the funky chicken and sing "I'm a Little Tea Pot" at the Old...

Re: "Chain of Fools" Some saying nice things behind my back ? I thought there was a reason my ears were burning yesterday......or was it the grill :? I hope you used my non OSHA approved method of cutting the groove in that wheel  if not the other method is ok but bland. My way is...

I loved this tandem when you built it. I'd miss it too! It lives on the interweb until someone or something pulls the plug. If you got the room get one. Graylock
