    Paint?

So you don't do any sanding before you do the touch up to make it all a flat surface? It's not evenly scratched...it's varying degrees and layers of paint that chipped off (sort of like a mountainous terrain) Also, when you wet sand...is that so the paint is able to keep it's sheen?

    Paint?

loool Come on I just bought it recently! Plus, it will give me something new to do over the weekend and I can possibly learn a new skill in the process. I guess my question would be for the paint experts here, what's the process (sanding? if so, what grits?) and what kind of paint should I...

    Paint?

I have an Electra Vince that took a pretty nice scratch job today... I took my neighbor's dog for a walk and then for a bike ride with me. They don't pay me...I just do it because it is so neglected over there that sometimes it escapes and comes to our house...just breaks my heart so I take her...

Who can sleep better when its raining?

I've grown up LOVING the rain. A lot of people here in SoCal complain when it's not perfect and sunny...bunch of prima donnas  Without rain, life wouldn't exist...plain and simple. But I just love watching the rain, whether it be from a window inside the house or just sitting inside...

I hope this isn't a repost, but it is NUTS

I took a similar tumble down a cliff by the ocean when I went looking for some friends I was rock climbing with. Turned out that they chickened out and went back pretty early on and that's why I couldn't find them. I kept climbing higher to see where they were and came across some loose rocks...

Well, I tried velcro and the space on my handlebar is not only small, but it's also outwardly rounded just like the pipe. With that, there is about a couple centimeters of velcro that actually make contact at any given position. No chance of it staying put with any adhesive except maybe some...

Anybody know what these rubber belt things are called?

It's actually quite impressive...puts out some clear sound at some pretty high volumes...big things do come in small packages in this case. My only gripes are that it doesn't have a built in rechargeable battery...it takes 4 aaa batteries and there could be a bit more bass, but seriously for...

Anybody know what these rubber belt things are called?

Well, I found another one by chance and here are the results: The hub shiner may just work better because it's leather and will hold it more firmly...either that or a puppy collar.

Anybody know what these rubber belt things are called?

That's a pretty good idea...that and a dog collar haha. Not sure of the fit though...the advantage of these is that they are elastic. Yeah...looks like you're right -- http://www.parts-people.com/index.php?a ... em&id=5551, but I guess you can't find them in any stores. I went everywhere today.

Anybody know what these rubber belt things are called?

I need to buy a couple of these so I can mount something to my bike: I found the one above already in use by the cord for an iron we bought...no clue where to get them though.

I went to a LBS today and they gave me some free safety belt straps. I was so thankful...that was very nice of them! Here is what I did: Took it for a nice bumpy ride around the neighborhood and it works wonderfully. Although it's more hassle than Velcro, it's secured all around and I don't...

I bought it last night...strapped it on with a couple cable ties and took it for a test ride to see how it is. This thing is great! I used it by my bed last night...I'm going to use a couple belts on each side to strap it on every time I use it because the surface area that I need to out it on...

Did you buy it in store or online? It says that it's only sold online on their website otherwise I would have went and bought it today...there are certain things I don't like buying online because possible returns can be a hassle that way. I'm gonna have to pick up a new nano or shuffle to go...

So you use the AC output for an auxiliary? I was looking at the skullcandy pipe today and wanted to do the same exact thing, but my concern was that the ipod will probably fly out of the dock while riding it...this is GREAT!

Looking for a tail light solution

Woah...that's pretty awesome. I didn't know they sold so much useful stuff at radio shack of all places...or maybe it's just that I have no clue what any of it is or that they exist. That could be real cool if I could mount those boxes around or under the seat somewhere. I was also wondering if...

Tumbles you've taken on a bicycle?

I guess my funniest moment would have to be when I was riding through a trail and a goddess sporting a pair of honey dews that I couldn't keep my eyes off of  passed by...long story short, I crashed into a bush and rolled down the hill.
