Sometimes it seems like those goat heads sprout legs and walk out on all rideable surfaces. Riding in these parts of the country this time of year is no fun unless you use a Kevlar layered tire, thorn resistant tubes, and tire liners.
Ok maybe I got a little crazy by saying HUGE selection. They do have 2 styles of tires and 2 different types of tubes. I guess that is pretty huge for Salt Lake.
Willie-D what part of Utah are you in? If you are in the Salt Lake area you should check out bikewagon. They will have a huge selection of 24x3s. They are at 680 w 200 n in North Salt Lake.
I definitely will be watching this build. It seems like I personally have built as many ladies bikes as mens. They are a lot of fun to build. It looks like you have a great start.
It's real funny how fast my wife can fill up her basket. It's great for me though, if we get out on a ride and I need something. I know it is there in that dang basket.
Skipton often motivates me to bike commute. Looking at his pictures and reading his posts on Ratrods and other forums helps me remember how awesome it is to bike commute.
I love it when people can't fit their bikes in the moving van. They always wait to put the bikes in last and then the bikes end up on the curb for FREE:rockout:
Welcome. When you are cruising around the site check out the new tanks that The Renaissance Man is building. It may fit this bike. Check out his build off bike Drag King, I know you will like it.
I think you may run into problems. BMX tensioners fit perfect in a BMX dropout, have you looked into something like the prewar cruisers have? They have a kind of set screw setup.
Thank You! I have always wanted to tell you I love the photos of your bikes around Savanah. Its great to see someone ride and enjoy their builds. I also LOVE what you did with the AMF chainring on Flexy:) Keep building and riding!
