Did you take the Schwinn post into a bike shop to see if they have a new style post to fit? They do come in a whole lot of different sizes. Or if you could find an el-cheapo steel pivotal post that you could get welded to the original post at about the height you want to run it, that might work too.

If you want the bigger wheels there are allot of 29 inch wheeled mountain bikes coming out every year and there is also a 650c movement going on. All the big wheeled bikes I've seen can be run with or without gears and more and more tire options are coming out for the 29's. I think a mountain...

That is some serious tricycle action you got going on there, how many lanes does it take up? LOL . It does look very comfortable, how is the gearing?

This is just my 2 cents but it might be a bit quick handling for a rug rat with the head tube that steep. Maybe a cruiser-ish type raked out fork with a shorter stem like the one on the big bike. But it does look cool. :mrgreen:

Mine had a rebuild and is used to walk the dog...no pic. of it's new job though.

I forced myself to watch it again... :lol: ...and paused and rewound and squinted but couldn't tell what brands they were riding. Except for a few front angles when I could see the Schwinn head badges. :mrgreen:

That's a sweet bike, why would he sell it in the first place? There are tons of bike "flippers" out there that say they love the bikes and are recapturing there youth and blah blah blah but are just looking to make a quick buck....hate those guys.

I don't think it's an addiction but a disorder. I like to tell my wife it's not my fault it's my B.A.D. ( bicycle acquisition disorder ) and until they find a cure she'll just have to put up with it. :lol: :lol: :lol:
