Have truck, will trade (or sell)

I got this truck to part out, but I can't bring myself to do that. It's a 49 Ford F1. However, all 48-50 Ford trucks looked the same. I'd have to look at the serial number to confirm the year. Truck is solid. Fenders are clean. Has 302/C4/9" rear end. Also has Ron Francis wiring that has...

    Huffy/Westernflyer RatTrike

Makes me want to bust out my Huffy tricycle for some refreshening. I've got a few different frame I can attach to the basket portion. I also want to switch out to either 26", if they'll fit, or 24" wheels and add the appropriate fenders to the rear. Maybe fit them over the frame...???

TOUR DE FAT San Francisco. PICS!

And it also fell over on its side at the bike show this past Sunday. Not sure how much damage was done as I didn't want to go over to it and look. It was like watching a bad train crash.

    Harder & Harder to Find

Welcome to California! Good luck finding a decent old cruiser for a good price. This past weekend I came up on an original 1951 Schwinn ladies cruiser. The guy was asking $75 at a swap meet. Not a bad price. It was right in the beginning of the swap meet where I came in. I told myself that...

It's probably for road and mountain bikes. I can't go. I'll be over at the bike show in San Jose. Plus, I'm already going to a swap meet in Marina on Saturday.

    My new 'HAPPY PLACE'

You still have plenty of room in there. I'd put some shelves down one side in case you want to store some things in there or do some work inside from time to time.

I feel like such an idiot!

So, my 3 year old son and I head out to participate in a local parade in our 1937 Chrysler Airflow. We're running late and I don't stop to get gas, eventhough that gas indicator shows about a 1/4 of a tank. We get there and park. As soon as the parade starts, we get about half a block down...

    Ratty Girly Roadmaster "Shirly"

Looks like the same as I've got. Mine's a Hawhtorne instead. Since I bought it, I've had the fork straightened and I added a tank. $70 is a good price. I paid $60 for mine less the tank. I have $30 into now after the purchase.

    Unwanted guests in the shop....again

And that's why I live in a city. However, still get an opossum or racoon once in a while. Once had a skunk get in and hide in one of the toolboxes at work. A friend (and coworker) opened up the lower drawer of the toolbox and found a baby skunk sleeping. Luckily, didn't spray at...

    Weekend Auction Finds

I believe that they were 24" with 26" wheels, but I may be mistaken. $275 for boys bike is cheap. $100 for the girls is also cheap. Nice finds and good price paid.
