We went from a 3 bdr duplex with one car garage to a 4bd/2ba home with a two car garage. There's even a shed in the backyard.
Now it's my bike shed/work area. I finally have a dedicated storage for my bikes instead of having to keep them outside covered with tarps.
Pictures as it is now...
You stole that truck! You should be arrested!
The unibody trucks are very hard to find and are not that common. Ford only made them for a year or two. They realized a (unibody) design flaw after some of the bodies started cracking from stress. Truck frames are rigid and don't...
Go to a Pick-n-Pull type yard and get a tail light from an old (80s-90s) full size van. The lens in the tail light should be wide enough for you to cut out a circle.
The rear doors were shot. The hinges barely hung on. I have two Panel trucks, one is a 51 and the other a 52. The 51 needed rear doors. It took one Panel truck (not this one) to donate that right rear door and I just found a good left rear door in SoCal for $75.
The quarters on this...
I did a similar thing a year or two ago, but with an old Panel truck. I bought it for parts and then scrapped it. Got half of my purchase price refunded by scrapping it.
No video, but in good sequence.
I would have paid triple the price you paid. Let's see, a bike with a tank, skiptooth, curved fender braces, rear drop out, and peaked fenders.... I say you did extremely well for $10.
Man, that April 26th ride sounds awsome! I'm in the process of moving residences by about a mile. Hopefully, if I'm done moving by then, I'll plan to go.
That's exactly the same thing I thought when I saw the picture. Knowing me, I'd already make plans to come back with a battery operated Sawzall, an extra battery and a few blades.
I've just been riding the different park trails, but have thought about taking a ride through different (flat) parts of SF. The issue w/riding in SF is that I have a 2.5 year old that I always rides with us. This entails either bringing a trailer for him or having him ride in his own seat on...

Alex, the proprietor, is "hit and miss" over there during the week. He has a consulting job that takes him away from the shop (he also lives upstairs) sometimes during the week. A good time to catch him is on the weekends. If the weather is nice, he'll have the chainlink fence gate open and...
My buddy picked up this bike for me over the weekend that I bought on CL last week.
Original wheels.
Besides some minor cosmetic damage to the front fender and rear rack, the bike is in decent shape. The current wheels appear to be Schwinn S2, while the original set is also a...
Everyone here and miles around knows about this place. It's been in business for many decades. This is where I get most of repairs done on my bikes and get a few parts from time to time. If you ever in San Jose, or in the SF Bay Area, this place is worth a visit!
Used to be full of bikes...
