i bought that motor already mounted in another bike, i dont know where the seller got it but it was new when he bought it/mounted it in the toher bile. it runs alright, the choke has to be set jjjuuussttt right and it's touchy, but it runs well when that set right, im still breakin in the motor...

hay all! i finally finished this thing! i been havin a lot of fun breakin in the motor around the neighborhood. for size reference i'm 5'7", it's a 26" schwinn w/ 24" wheels and a 24" rattle trap fork. this is my first attempt at a motorized project, i have 2 other rollin chassis ready for...

the wheel base is about 45" inches, any more than 45 or 50 would take away manueverability in turns so i wouldn't go longer than that, since i gotta get this through sharp turns at 55+mph it cant be too long. the fork is an old school bmx fork so its really stiff and they work great for this...

the frame is powdercoated, lots of custom welding, it's only assembled this far cuz it's gonna get pinstriped so the brakes/lines would be in the way, the fenders keep the "dirty air" off of the tires, the flat peices welded to the bottom bracket are knee trays -this is where i steer the bike...

last night i finished assembly on my latest buiold (minus the brakes cuz it's getting pinstriped) and i cant wait to post pix later tonight, it's my most awesome to date ! id get pix up sooner by i have dinner at my new girfriends hous so im gonna clean up allproprer like! fast eddie

im really wishing i would have kept that little front wheel, 20" wheel hubs are a bit too wide for those forks, live and learn!

brilliant! is that the frame/rear shock? what is the piece at the top of the steer tube that attaches the shock?

wow you got alot of work in that! it looks killer, good job. id like to put a fairing on my bike at some point, ive never done any fiberglass work but it's a time issue as always, im also one of those who has a garage ful of unfinished projects so im trying to concentrate on getting them done...

i build bicycles too, thats a fun hobby, im putting a bicycle motor kit on one of them, should be fun! just wish i had more time for it all,

good to hear yer gonna build one, i thought maybe you were one of the 'old timers' that used to post on the gravitybike.com site. i didnt get to ride this summer, i even finished a new bike and aint got it up to speed yet, but ill remedy that next summer for sure! lookin forward to seen yer...

yea philpine yer right, i had that backward. have you tried anything like that? as for tires i think that usuing high pressure tires work great, theyre smooth and give less roll resistance. i used odyssys 110 psi for a long time, still do on one of my bikes, i aired 'em up to 90 psi to leave...
