    Saturday I fabbed a seat post--thanks for the steel rod, Pop. Tweaked a few things and did the final mock-up assembly--next week it all gets torn down for final paint and re-assembly. Seat post looks a little long. That's more like it. Ok. End of the day at Elm Street Shops and Foundry...

    Got the wheels put together and painted. Shout out to Flythe Bicycles on West Street in Raleigh NC for the hookup. Reasonable price and fast turn around on the order. Waiting for the fork to arrive.

    More sanding, more priming followed by more sanding, a little frame bending and some pillow block sawing went on in the Elm Street Shops and Foundry. I was able to stretch the frame enough for balloon tires without any cutting--life is good.

    Not much progress last week other than adding a few new wrinkles to the grey matter. Tank may be undergoing re-design pending outcome of next shop session. There is LOTS of stiff competition too . . .nice work ratters. I'm glad we have until Aug 1. Pictures to follow.
