I wont buy a bike that I can't ride. I'm getting rid of the several chopper bikes I have. My two grandsons don't need the uncomfortable things either. I love to ride but don't intend to waste seat time on something I can't enjoy.

I've had this bike for 15+ years. It's time to clean it up and ride it. I don't know what it is. The chainguard looks like an add-on. Even the fenders appear to be added on. There is no place for the lower front of the rear fender to attach to the frame. The front hub looks unusual to me...

Of the three in the photo, the one on the far end, the Dyna Glide Deluxe, is the easiest one to ride. The first one, the Onyx 29 needs a couple more teeth on the rear or something. I'm going to count the teeth on both sprockets on the Dyna and see if the Onyx can be set up with the same.

I must like cruisers. These three together seemed like a good photo op. I have others too, including 8 or 9 Huffy Good Vibrations in different colors. :D

I have a couple other bikes with beach cruiser bars so the ones on the onyx don't feel too weird.

I have a bare Schwinn tandem frame. Did the tandems have heavier spokes than regular one-seater Schwinns? To use wheels off of a non tandem should I swap the spokes? Are the holes in the hubs big enough for heavier gauge spokes? What about the holes in the rims? Thanks. :?:
