Cool, next time I'm in the valley I'll swing in. I have family in Mission Hills and SCV still.

2020 Schwinn Stingray 125th frame (only) wwith Vintage/Repop parts and 26" Springer "Right Tools For The Job"

Mocked up the 26" springer today, still need to measure and trim the stem down. Need to trim the sissy bar, too. Both will be like butter on the chop saw. Also, modified a set of boring generic grips. Thread here...

    Reflector End Grips D.I.Y.

No issues, just slid them on until I felt the reflector botom out on the bar end...little Aqua-Net and Bob's yer Uncle. Yes, I still need to trim the springer stem, just a mock-up at the moment.

    Reflector End Grips D.I.Y.

Anyone can purchase amber or red reflector end grips. Has anyone else attempted to make their own? Not ground breaking technology, but it was a fun little experiment after I go the idea. I used a threaded aluminum nipple and honed out the inside at an angle until it was razor sharp, then used it...

I was wondering about that, because this thread is in regard to you creating looptials. I was like, hey he already makes those? Do you have a store front in the valley, or? I'm out in the IE now, originally from the valley, but grew up in SCV.

26” Cantilever Style Frame Comparision Thread

Yep, I recognized the logo straight away. I grew up skiing behind jet boats on the lakes and rivers in Ca and Az in the mid 70's through mid 80's. Spent many hours polishing as a young teen. I'd give about anything for a chrome one like this.

    Schwinn Rumbler - Klunker

Also, to me this Schwinn Rumbler is more of Cook Brother throwback/tribute bike. But like the word "bobber" it appears that "klunker" is now a catch phrase marketing word to grab the consumers attention. Like Retro, Patina, Vintage etc etc.

    Schwinn Rumbler - Klunker

Like everything else....starts off as an underground trend. Then slowly it becomes a fad, then commercialized. If you're into motorcycles the whole "Bobber" thing exploded in the last 10 years. Now people even call choppers "bobbers" silly people.

GT Overdrive with Overdressed Rims/Tires aka When Money is No Object Build

Saw this posted on FB this am. It took me a second when I was looking at the wheels, then it dawned on me. A GT Overdrive (I think?) with about $2,000 worth of forged Weld dragsters front rims and Hoosier tires. Now he can go 300mph+ with no worries.

    BO15 ATOMIC Strand!

Cool, Bomonster skull. I've been following him for years and see him at cars shows from here to TX. One of my daughters collects his art.

    Schwinn Rumbler - Klunker

I actually like the aggressive BMX/Mtn Bike head angle. What I don't like is that it doesn't come with a 3peed hub. Can always be added...

    90's GT Arette hybrid

Awesome! My 2nd Mtn Bike was a GT Tequesta, summer of 1988. Man, I wish I had that now. Love GTs. (not mine below, but same model) If I had it now, I'd do the same you're doing, I dont like standing on my head anymore when riding.
