    POP QUIZ.....W/PRIZE!!

Well, I had a new departure rim that the nuts were too big for a 9/16, and too small for a 5/8. So I used a 15mm. And it fit perfectly... Which in standard size is 19/32, I believe. But I don't own a wrench that size, so I used the closest equivalant, 15mm.

    1971 Orange Varsity

I'm sorry man, but any shorts that are cutoff jeans, especially tight cowboystyle jeans that don't come at least 3/4 of the way to your knees are daisy dukes in my opinion. Guy or girl.

Bike tax in Oregon Is dead! Oh Yeah!

Re: Bike tax in Oregon is DEAD! YEAH! Hey everyone, a little update on the oregon bike tax issue. I got this letter from a representative's office in response to an email. Read on: Brigham, Thank you for taking the time to pass on your thoughts in regard to HB3008, the proposed bicycle...

Are these bikes worth the asking price?

I agree with Karfer... Cool old pre-70s bikes are harder to come by here on the west coast for whatever reason. The red on looks to be in decent shape, but I still don't feel it's woth 500. maybe 250. The silver king, too, may be a little overpriced, but not too bad. $300 wouldn't be too shabby...

    JAWA cruisers?

They look like a Rapido, another Czech-made bike sold here... Never seen one listed as a jawa though... Only dirtbikes.

What do you guys think..BF Goodrich bike

I don't know where you're at... But out here in the Pacific Northwest, it is hard to find anything older than the 70s that isn't rusted away. That's why I buy a lot of frames from drier places. and I've paid more than $90 bucks(including shipping) including shipping for a few bikes...

Bike tax in Oregon Is dead! Oh Yeah!

Re: Bike tax in Oregon! Booo! As it stands, They are saying 27 a year per bike, but you have to pay in 2 year increments. 90 dollar no reg. ticket, and 25 for altering a serial number. I have gotten a letter back form one of my reps, which is kinda cool, so we'll see. Either way, it's a sad...

Why is that? What's so special about them?

What do you guys think..BF Goodrich bike

But there are a lot more schwinn breezes out there than these twinbar goodriches. And this frame style, in my opinion, is far cooler than a breeze. I wouldn't pay more than 20 bucks for a MINT breeze, because I think they are ugly, and there is nothing on them I would want to use for anythign...

    new roadster

I have a Schwinn OCC fork on mine, and it gave me a lot of clearance for my size 14s... I'm not a fan of the schwinn style springers anyways...
