My "cheater fixie".....isn't really fixed, has a rear freewheel, and I LIKE HAVING BRAKES for when other people do stupid things....and I agree with the others...real fixies play havoc with your knees....even with brakes total weight is around 18 lbs.

Is there any way for you to take and post, or send me a pic of how your cables attach to the rear derailleur? I have a new in the package shifter, grip, and the dual cable set up for this bike but haven't a clue how the dual cable set up is on the rear....thanks!!!

Could you show a little closer detail on the rear addition to the canti frame? I'm curious as to how you attached the pivoting area to the drop outs of the canti frame.
