You've got a three piece set up, just what you said, separate arms and spindle set up. It looks nice! Thanks for the comment on mine. I've had no luck with these later style Huffy serial numbers as well. I'm sure yours is close to the vinatge of mine, and more than likely a US made frame, not...

I think you have a late 80's Huffy....the frame geometry and chainguard are very close to the appearance of mine. Your chainring is different, but so is mine, as I went up to a 52T Monark style. Does yours have a three piece crank set up?

Thank you all for your kind comments. Clean up was a chore, but worth it. The window tint looks awesome as well. Gotta love the barter system!!!!

Nice GV you've got there pal! Looks like a mid to late 80's based on the fork type and chain ring.... Here's a few of my GV's... Chinese built 24" GV, totally stock USA built 26" GV....this one looked just like your red one minus the "mudguards" when I got it after: USA built white 26"...
