Vista like several other brands were bicycles built by other manufacturers and sold under the Vista brand, yours appears to be Columbia built and also looks to have a Schwinn fork on it. You will find there is not to much info out there on Vista bikes in general though some of the kids bikes are...

Yep done the modified C clamp, it works but I find it easier to use a roll pin punch and hammer. Neither method rolled the rivet correctly but was tight enough for me. Note, I did add a washer on the slotted brace on one but the rivet was just barely long enough. Another note, I wasn't worried...

I just measured a set from an early girls bike @22" ,they can be modified to fit a 26" boys bike ! I have done it several times using a tube bender and grinder . Mark

Cool build OJ ! I wish I could have followed along throughout the build but life has had a strangle hold on me so the compilation was great for helping me catch up !
