Thanks OddJob, I like the rust myself if the rest of the bike blends with it ! I don't like crust and scraping / cleaning on the frame has made a few shiny areas so I may have to rerust it afterwords. GSC I might be interested in the sprocket here in the near future once I get a sense of where...

Great starting point and "welcome to the forum/build off", I'm not sure what a shop style bike is so just build it the way you want it and lastly have fun doing it ! Mark

Motivation is something I have very little of lately so the build offs give me a reason to do something with all bike stuff I have collected (read hoarded) over the years and in the end I have the satisfaction of knowing there is a little bit of history that did not make it to the scrap yard ...
