Brake link added---the frame design on this thing makes a strap pretty ugly.

Kick Stand Added a shear pin to a Monark kick stand. This prevents the kick stand from rotating. The bolt that attaches the kick stand won't need to be tightened so tight that it crushes the frame & I won't need the plate on top of the frame.Still waiting for the chrome shop-----

Waiting on a few parts to come back from the chrome shop. This bike won't have a chain wheel or chain guard, rides good without them. Still has pedals though. Sorry Dan, no springers on this one. Pictures will be added next week if the puter decides to work. Just looked at most of the builds on...

Thanks for the comments----no, the head shroud no longer fits. I am using it on an original Merc. The tank does fit except it will be about 2" short at the rear. Haven't decided if I will use it on this bike. I am always looking for more Mercury Pacemaker parts if anyone wants to sell.

    Mercury Pacemaker

Might as well do this---been watching everyone else do it & looks like the thing to do. I am starting with an old Murray built Mercury Pacemaker from 1939. This frame was totally rusted out under the forward shroud. I will be making new frame parts for the front that will increase the rake &...
