OK, non-progress report.... The rear-cog-to-cassette is not going quite as planned...I need a few more thingamajigs to make it work. The tubes are in the tires, but my tire pump is...get this...full of muddy WATER! In Tucson!!!...ARRRGH! I just don't see the point in taking pictures of grips...

Thanks so much for all the kind words and encouragement. This forum really does have some of the nicest people!! I hope to have Raven rolling tomorrow. Just got home from work, and I am not going to mess with her, but tomorrow the forecast calls for tubes, chain, rear cog, and pedals...

Thanks Cap. Off road biking kinda scares me. I have a 4wd old Chevy Suburban that I love, and I have been riding motorcycles most of my life, but I have never been on a dirt bike. Pretty sure that at my age I never will be, lol. I don't bounce anymore......

Well, can you be in both build offs at once? Or is it too much of a time crunch? I know nothing about off road bikes, so I have no idea what is involved in building one. The rest of the worlds winter building time is our best riding time....

Thanks OJ. That's not decals, just gloss paint and tape. And stencils . Yes, I am going to have to use an adapter. I have one that I can make work with a bit of fabricobbling, but I would certainly welcome any advice for something better. Adapters for diagonal dropouts seem to be pretty...
