Captain Awesome showed me how to post pics. Many thanks. The picture of my assistant was supposed to be the last one, and the side view of the frame was supposed to be first. The frame is a Murray 6 speed, year unknown, but the guy I got it from thinks it is mid-80s. It seems to be in good...

    Disc Brakes on Older Murray?

Hi Wildcat, thanks for the reply. Yes, I was chatting with a guy from BBS today, he told me their adapter won't work with my frame, but he sent me links to some that would. He also sent me a link to that video. The Murray was originally a six speed. The backstays(?) seem to be a little wider...

Ok, it's official. I picked up a mid-80's Murray frame today, so Ravensbirth (I crack me up), I meant, "The Madness" begins. I have a post in "how to" regarding uploading pics, if anyone wants to explain the process.

Thanks Jason. I am looking around for a frame for the RRBO, but it's amazing how hard it is to find a simple cruiser frame in Tucson, lol.

Thanks MattiThundrrr. I am going to do the best I can, lol. It has been a REALLY long time since I have built a bike. I have it mostly planned out in my mind....the main question right now is....flat or gloss?

Hi all, new member. No pictures yet, I am still looking around for a frame. I just wanted to save the name. Raven will not be a beautiful old pre-war like so many are building. I would LOVE to, but that's just not in the budget. I will build a newer bike, with more modern parts but hopefully...

Hi all! New member here in Tucson AZ. It has been a few decades since I have built a bicycle, but all of a sudden I started getting this itch. I was surfing around and found this site. I think I am going to like it here!
