    1956 Roadmaster w/ Harbor Freight 79cc

Recovering a prewar 3 spring.. first go didn't go. I tried some naugahyde I pulled off an old chair at work...it covered and formed well, but folding/and gluing under the pan caused wrinkles on the seat..naugahyde doesn't have enough stretch. We have an upholstery shop at work in another...

    Drum Brakes?

"I totally forgot about the Monark repro forks, but I don't know if I trust that suspension or build quality for higher speeds. I thought of 26", but would rather stick with the 700c. If this turns out to be a huge fail, I'll revisit this option, but I already ordered the hub, so I'll find out."...

    Black '63 Typhoon build / suggestions ?!

Great looking bike. What I would do. Snatch a set of worksman wheels, or heavy duty cruiser chrome wheels and give them the wire wool and brushed chrome look...stick to factory widths for tires to keep fenders happy.. I've tried the stencil kits and you have to get a good clean edge..(some guy's...

    Any other quality bicycle motors?

4 stroke reliability.. Go with a 79cc Harbor Freight. The problems with the kits is most of the added parts are crap quality...you are chasing problems and replacing crap components instead of riding...what kind of frame? Motor mounts pretty easily with off the shelf buggy clamps, and a 4 x 6...

    1956 Roadmaster w/ Harbor Freight 79cc

Been going through the bike slowly and everything has been cleaned, greased and given a coat of Penetrol...the motor needs some parts for upgrades, and proper tires.. right now I'm trying to just use stuff I can make or have put aside over time, the motor and controls were sitting from last...
