Thank ya! Thank ya! I've been slack and haven't posted, but as I was warned, my collection has grown. I now have six bikes and now my hubby is feeling the fever. Ross I have posted here. Murray High Jinx 20" Girl's 20" Royce Union Unidentified as yet blue girl's 20"...

    Ross Polobike gettin some love.

Ya know. It does. It does tend to flash rust really fast so I'm coating each part in WD-40 after a good scrubbing. Hubby said I should probably clear each piece after washing it. That might be a better option...

Well, well, well. 48 hour soak. (shoulda been 24, but had a crisis) You can see the line where the tip of the fender was sticking out.

WOW! I'm game for that. Perfect for the chrome and bits. Wonder what does it do to paint? I'm trying to keep the paint largely intact. I want a heavily patina'd look, not heavily rusted. I think my Ross would be a knock out with patina'd frame, with shiny, but worn, chrome. I'm big on scars...

0000 steel wool. Got it. Hubby says he can get it for me. I totally forgot about aluminum foil. That works like a charm on chrome!

Out of my three new/old bikes. My Ross is the first one I'm starting on. I had asked about rust removal, and got advice on using WD-40 or rubbing compound. Neither makes a dent. I'll be using brass wool and WD-40 together in an attempt to remove the worst of the rust and not get too deep into...

Hiya everybody! I'm in Greer, South Carolina. Glad to be in the crusty area. I like my vehicles still showing their personality. :D WD-40, huh? I'm gonna do that! Man, if I'd bought stock in that company some years back.... I'll be cleaning them up and reposting pics. Hubby is...

Thank you!! Well that's all I need. One more addiction with wheels. I found the bullet light - Delta Rocket light. Seen mounted as headlight, taillight, fender light and even mounted as duals. But like you said, the larger one may still be a headlight or fog light for a boat or some...

And here's pics of what I have to get started on! Blue girl's Royce Union Murray High Jinks Ross Polobike I also got these lights. Anybody know how they mount or any info on them? Not even sure if the big light is a bike light. No legible identifying marks.

Hello! :D I'm new to the site although I've lurked a bit from time to time. I've scored three old muscle bikes and I'm hoping to get educated! I've got a Ross Polobike, a Murray High Jinks and a sweet little Royce Union. I know they're not the upper crust, but I love their looks and I've...
