hey Tater, What headset configuration did you piece together to get that Girvin to fit the Felt frame? Headset size 1" or orginal 1 1/8"? did you use a reducer kit? stem shims? did you have to change the crown race on the girvin? Im piecing this puzzle together for my 8-ball. Tnx :D

food for thought...the 2nd banana has a more busy pattern, and narrower pleats to match the wraps. just throwing that against the wall

I know, I know.... Itook them off all my bikes growing up, dirt bikes, mtn bikes, even my first ten speed. I'm just now getting back into bikes and feel compelled to keep the kickstands on em for some reason. Different kind of bike, maybe I got old, but I don't like the idea of laying them on...

Both of my Felts have the same crappy kickstand. My coaster brake locked up in the fallen stand and left me brakeless last weekend. (I'f I'd had the wherewithall to half-crank forward I may have gotten brakes back, but didn't at the time....) I came rolling towards my house at top speed...

Shipping things sucks period. The cost has gone up tremendously and I cant even fathom how to estimate it anymore. I ballpark what I think it should be and usually lose. Occasionally I end up ahead, but not by much, and there is something to be said for the hassle of packaging and materials...
