1959 Edsel Ranger -- mild custom

Your Edsel would fit in well there. They just don't like that Ratty crap 'hot rods'. They let me hang there with my Dart. :)

1959 Edsel Ranger -- mild custom

I would just put the red ones on....they maybe a little more dim when backing up at night time...but how often do you do that. :) Heck just get rid of the back up light and hook it up to your taillights.

1959 Edsel Ranger -- mild custom

I think I would put the caddy lights on the back up lights two...it would flow better...nice job on the pin stripes.

    Show us them cars!

Mine is a 'GT'.../6 auto...I've upgraded to a Weber carb, electronic ign, sway bar and disc brakes. Yours has some really nice features...V8 and a 4 speed. 273 Hipo is pretty rare. Looks like you are in Nevada. You don't see too many 65 Verts here in the Dallas area either.

My '92 Cougar: Starting the paint process

hmmm...didn't know the Cougar is a unibody...figured it was a full frame car like a crown vic.

My '92 Cougar: Starting the paint process

Not even a Rat Rod guy would do that. :) Now if you want to take the body off the frame and bolt on a 49 ford....you would have a nice cruiser. Probably for about the same money. But that takes some pretty good talent and a shop/tools to do it right. I have a 65 Dart /6 car..runs good...

My '92 Cougar: Starting the paint process

oh no...fake patina on a fake 49 Ford....run away...yikes....:) I think you should appreciate what you have. 92 Cougars are cool in their own right. RWD...some where V8 powered. I'd replace some of the messed up pieces on the rear and drive the heck out of it. That or fix it up and sell...

My '92 Cougar: Starting the paint process

not sure about the easyrod kit being an upgrade. :) I really don't think it 'flows' very well. Looks like some stick on fenders on a 92 Cougar.
