26"x3.0 tires, this one is a Large frame. Frame comes in 5 sizes.

Just measured it. The seat tube measurement is 22", where the other 4 M2600 straight-bar frames I was able to measure the same way come in at 20". Not sure if this was a one-off tall frame, or something that Worksman offered. I bought it from a lady who won it at a popular VA Beach dance bar...

Thanks! I don't think so. There is a slight difference in where the seat stays hit the seat tube, a little lower than "normal". It's possibly due to the different rear dropouts. I have also noticed that the 80s frames have a lot of variation in the curviness of the down tube.

1984 Worksman M2600. Has the less common horizontal rear dropouts. Really crying out for a set of chrome tube forks.

Worksman? Certainly a Worksman from the seat tube back. The top tube tapers as it meets the seat tube. The head tube seems Worksman (though not lugged), Akisu fork, Wald stem, & handlebars. 80s spec chainring, Union pedals, 3/16" chain, & WTC rims w/ 11g spokes & knockout front hub. I saw...

I have seen that extension on a few original Worksmen I have come across, curious.
