    finally got it into a rolling chassie agin.. so i have decided to beef everything up.. using pillow block bearings and a rear moped hub for the new set up after blowing rear SA 3 speed. also went with a new pair of handle bars that i think look a lot better[/URL

    what benefits do you get out of having a belt instead of chain off of the clutch? nice bike. I'm running a similar bike and setup. but with a chain. I'm going to move to a moped hub.. sturmy archer 3 speed didn't like the motor haha

    i 3.5 HP yes.. the way you understand it is true.. the crank is just like any other bicycle but the sprocket the crank runs to is the the freewheel that is all link into my jackshaft. the rear hub is a 3 speed sturmey archer freewheel. i can pedal this bike but I'm having a hard time...

    do these forks raise the front of the bike at all? does it sit different from regular forks.. i welded up my motor mount level with how it sits and i don't want to cocked if i was to put these forks on it. thanks

    I have quick bricks with S/A 90mm front hub. And a rear 3 speed hub. Welded a 40 tooth sprocket together to fit it. (They don't make one) and cut the rear off added 5 inches and lowered 2 inches over all. Also cut the front down tub and bent it out to make room for the motor to sit...
