    MBBO Re-Factored... (Crazy Lady)

Yes, she rode well with the crazy bars... Yes, there was plenty of knee room with the crazy bars ... No, I didn't think the bars matched the flightliner frame. No, the bars won't stay on this build.... For Halloween last night I threw the bars on the pedal dragger that I built last year and...

    MBBO Won’t finish: Savage B.O.B.

I agree with you. The MBBO was four months for so many times, from its inception. I think cutting it to three months makes it difficult to truly create the muscle-bike quality that was seen 10-8 years ago. IThanksgiving cuts at least a week out of the schedule. Family Christmas parties, and...

    STBO Luck Be A Lady

Cured, but ot fully cured yet. A little soft if I squeeze it Fits the peaked fender well. Will need to wait until tomorrow before sanding the sides and the top.

Today after work I made a little rectangular mold to tape onto the fender to get the contour right for putting the light on the fender by only drilling two holes. Multiple layers of tape for easier removal. Used JBWeld, but any epoxy would do. Its what i had in the cabinet. Will let it cure...

Couple of Ladies and Gents to add to the stable

🤣 🤣 🤣 I delayed the news. I told her after three were in the garage, one was in the shed and the 5th was tore down on the back porch and getting new grease in all of the bearings and hubs.

Thank You Lee! I got sidetracked with the idea of making a mount that would saddle the peaked fender and haven't gotten anywhere with it yet. Should have some new progress soon. Spent a lot of time in the garage thos last weekend doing car things

    MBBO Re-Factored... (Crazy Lady)

Agree, seems to be plenty bright, I've been considering two round lights in the back of the rack instead of one. Still working on how to keep them secured. The lip on the rack doesn't quite seem to be enough. A half used pencil or a pen barrel seems to help it hold better.

    MBBO Re-Factored... (Crazy Lady)

Put it on the polisher and got.it as shiny as I can. Put the positive tank side circuit together. Couldn't find my solder, so I used butt splices on the switch. Added a plug for easier disconnect from bezel. JBWeld quickest to hold down the battery holder to metal on the bracket. Just needed...

Tried some silver foil and couldnt get it to lay right. Tried chrome paint. Also not impressed. Removed it before it cured. Little wire brush cup on the dremel 220, 600, 1000 and some 1600 grit wet/dry sandpaper Emory on the polishing wheel next. Then will see if I need to sand more.

Tried clearing up the light back plate. Not pleased with the result. Will report it with something shiny. Switches came. Perfect fit for the holes. Long button. Trimmed it down to original size.

    MBBO Re-Factored... (Crazy Lady)

I started the disassembly of the rusted out components in the tank. Couldn't get one screw loose on the battery holder and will need to drill it out. Planning to use AAs instead of Ds with LEDs should provide hours of light. Switch came out easily enuff and put it in some dawn and water to try...

    MBBO BAD INFLUENCE!

Sometimes with these paints, I apply a coat every 10 minutes of I am mixing different base paint types. Acetone, urethane, xylene toluene. Else it's a 4-7 day cure period in between paint types.

Thinking of putting this old age faded delta jet light on this build. A couple of winters ago I added an LED to it and cleaned up all of the contacts inside. Will need to flatten a spot on the fender, make a composite or rubber base and drill a couple holes.

    MBBO Re-Factored... (Crazy Lady)

cut square, will clean it up and smooth it with a file or the dremel. Pulled the bulbs and found some LEDs I had on the shelf. Looking for the battery holder I had for two AAs. Should be plenty for 20+ hrs of light. Need to figure something out for the lense.

    MBBO Re-Factored... (Crazy Lady)

I think so too. She's a wild and crazy ride. 👍 Still trying to figure out proper adjustment for my reach and wide shoulders. ---‐--‐--------------------------. With the frozen seat post all I really need a seat clamp for is to secure the rack. It rattles a bit when I ride. I cut this off of...
