looking for fenders for my 1952 black phantom 26" build want to paint them, this is the bike Front forks do not have a spot to attach the tab that I see on fenders on ebay am I missing something? pre paint forks.

So Here is what I need, and looking for sources, my build is a original Phantom frame (it is in the builds page) Thinking about some pre war cross brace handle bars, (are they decent for driving)? stem to fit forks I beleve 13/16", and seat poast, seat poast clamp. Ideas are apreciated.

I bought a parts bike on craigs list and looks like the front axel is too big for the forks with truss, is there a way to corect this?
