Let's see those Kona HumuHumu & Kona A'Ha

Thanks! I did see those. It’s not the right decal for my frame, alas. My frame remains just that for now while I try to decide what I want to do about the rear wheel. Mine is 135 for a Nexus. I’m personally opposed to building it with a Nexus but also don’t “need” another single speed. In the...

FOUND S-A 3-speed coaster hub wanted

SORRY FOR THE DELAY IN REPLYING. I was away from the forums for a bit. We have found what we need, hub wise.

Which GRIPPY 1/2” pedals do you like

    They’re grippier than this? (Yes I know this isn’t a 1/2” pedal)

Which GRIPPY 1/2” pedals do you like

My complaint about pedals is if they say they’re grippy and they’re not (looking at you, MKS beartrap repops) So my Emory needs a grippy flat pedal of some kind, 1/2”, what do you recommend? It can be flat or roundish but must be grippy as heck! I ride in Converse.

    Bike for my son

Since you’re still maybe shopping, what’s your location? I’m selling a nice XS Kona Nunu mountain bike in Sacramento.

Let's see those Kona HumuHumu & Kona A'Ha

Picked this up for my younger son today to replace his Already Outgrown (wtf) Kona Nunu. Swapped the tires for these K-Rads and gave it a wash. Love the simplicity. Now I gotta sell that Nunu!

Let's see those Kona HumuHumu & Kona A'Ha

Got my Humuhumunukunukuapua’a back from getting the frame repaired today. I’ve decided to Spray Bike it, because I have nothing to lose. If down the line I want paint or powder, no problem. The two holes someone drilled in the toptube are fixed. It will probably be the 80’s tribute colors of my...

Let's see those Kona HumuHumu & Kona A'Ha

Wow! Quite the amazing collection. What’s the rear spacing on the Woody’s fender bike? I wanna see ALL the klunkers in your collection.

Let's see those Kona HumuHumu & Kona A'Ha

The Humus have always been weird, crossing back and forth over all the lines between beach cruiser, mountain bike, klunker. It won’t matter to me. This bike will get a 135 spaced coaster brake rear wheel and probably all the cable guides neutered off when the frame gets repaired. Just one...

Let's see those Kona HumuHumu & Kona A'Ha

Not this bike. Black, cable routing for IGH. 135 rear spacing.

Let's see those Kona HumuHumu & Kona A'Ha

Thanks Matti, d’you know if this one was a 7 or 8 speed back then? I only see the red one online for that year. It’s mostly the head tube sticker I want.

Let's see those Kona HumuHumu & Kona A'Ha

What year is this Humu frame I picked up and can I get repop decals? Fork is canti, rear spacing is 135 and has cable guides for internally geared hub, color is black. This frame needs repair so I’ll probably have it powdercoated a color of my choice anyhow.

    Show Those Emory Cruisers

Here’s my newly acquired Emory Workhorse. The chainguard will be going back on. When I removed it to service the bottom bracket I discovered the chainguard fixing screws were rusted in. I plan to replace them. But here she is with fresh Vans tires ready for haulin’

    SHOW US YOUR KLUNKERZ

The reworked hub and the cooler are two different Mone built parts, in my case. They rebuild and beef up a Shimano coaster. Also nice is they’ll space it from 110-135.
