I was able to fit 26x3s on my 50 Schwinn... had to finesse the fenders a little bit on an English wheel and notch the front where it goes through the fork. It’s tight but it works, 100s of miles without issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It could work but you’re definitely limiting your available hand positions, brake levers, and brake lever placement compared to a dirt drop bar. (Usually bullhorns like these use a bar end brake lever, that would eliminate the option of bar end shifters... possibly a cyclocross style brake lever...

Fat Tire Cruiser.. laced in a SA 5 speed hub, routed the shift cable through the seat tube, out the top of the seat post, and connected to custom “suicide style” shifter with a New Belgium tap lever. It was a fun project... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
