    1953 Schwinn Spitfire

    I have the same bike (even color), ‘41 Westfield. The only difference is mine has the “kidney bean” sprocket. Being that yours has the more traditional Columbia sprocket it may have also been badged that way originally.

    I got one of these for my 8th birthday! My first of 2 bikes I ever got brand new when I a kid. The other one came from lawn mowing money, but this bike was my “Red Ryder” moment!!
