Or they fitted American pedals, so that the customers are happier about it?

I would be worried by such a large on a single tube bike, but it looks brilliant on a twin tube bike like that :)

How long do you have to wait before you remove the lace? When the paint is fully dried or when the paint is still 'flexible'?

It even appears to have a caliper brake on the rear with a down pull action.

    Grease

I use this grease, I found it here on the farm when we bought it, for use on wagon and agricultural bearings, and the inevitable bicycles.

They certainly look like they were off some ZZR back in the 1960s, the bolts holding on the rubbers are probably metric, but they should fit straight on any cranks, other than on childrens's bikes of course.

These were designed to be sold in the USA, so it could have been bought by a Pole or Polish descendent living in the USA, as something from the 'old country'. :)

    Romet Tyler with Questions

Nice bike, classic high-end Romet design, and yet the welding, the simple brackets and some of the paint job are a bit (classically) iffy. I have never seen a Tyler badged frame here, but I have seen them advertised, you would have had to buy it with foreign money at a special shop to get one...

Ha ha, that is something I often forget to mention... Well, the Agat/Jubilat have 24" wheels, that red bike next to it is another Romet with 26" wheels. I am very fond of the 24" wheels, for some reason I cannot explain.

Again from the same supermarket... This is a Romet Agat, which is the non-foldable version of the Jubilat. Actually, if I were to start looking for another bike then it would be one of these, if only because I have four Jubilats and it is a decent sized bike. This one has had a bit of a...

!/2" is not bad, many production cars used to be within 1". I remember when I built my 3-wheel Lomax, once I got the chassis square it was then a problem to fit the fibreglass body... ;)

Another Romet at my favorite spotting place, and in the window on the second picture you can also see the previous Romet I covered here. This is the Wagant, available in either 5 or 10 speed versions, and on sale between the 1970s and the 1990s. This one looks like it is from the 1970s...
