Mocked up some handlebars to see if I like them before I invest time in refinishing them, I like the look and feel. Swapped on some cruiser 26 x 2.125 street tires, removed the front brake.

I am not going to run a front brake so I could go the 29er fork route. For now I am going to run the rock shox, trying to do this as budget as possible. Chopped the seat post today. Polished the chain tensioner. Repurposed this old Haro stem I had on a parts bike, sanded and polished it.

It sure does have a Tange frame that was made in Canada. That's cool it was close to you!

Picked up this GT triple triangle tonight for 100 bucks cdn. Previous owner already did a single speed conversion and polished the aluminum frame. I'd like to find a 26" bmx fork and do up a bmx conversion on it. Is an SE Landing Gear fork my best option for a fork is there a cheaper alternative?

Drove out to Lacombe this morning to pick up this Electra custom for myself, it was about a 350km round trip. I sold my black cruiser 1 yesterday to fund it and stripped all of my accessories off that bike to swap on. Its almost like new, the previous owner had health issues and couldn't ride...

Electra womens 3 speed, was pretty rough when I got it. Lots of polishing the frame to remove scuffs. Electra Hollywood with springer front end.

Installed the seat I originally had on my Felt rainbow bike. It was squeaky and driving me nuts on the Felt so I shelved it. Took apart the guts and fixed it up for the Trek. Polished up this bell for it.

Finished polishing the stem and hardware, also polished the seat post clamp. Installed some 26 x 2.35 Bontrager white walls I've been saving.

Yeah the headset matches, the guy I sold the bike to builds early 2000's down hill bikes. He was excited for the stem.
