Kinda weird bike: 24" wheels, Phil hubs, MAFAC brakes and BMX bars. Canti studs have been brazed on the frame along with cable guides. Not too sure what fork they used? Red on one side and pink on the other.

With efforts like this, it is easy to see why Schwinn didn't do too well with their early "mountain bikes". Nothing too high end but it sure is clean.

I think this is the same bike that was marketed as a Klunker 5 in certain markets? Positron "index" shifting even :D
