1966 Schwinn Racer saved from the scrapyard, everything that requires grease was rebuilt. The frame/tins and the handlebars went in for powdercoat, new tires/tubes, grips, pedals and seat. This thing is a fun solid ride.
This belongs to a friend who found it in Winslow Arizona just sitting in the weather wasting away. I was tasked to completely disassembled and reassemble the bike. The frame was sand blasted including all of the chrome due to rust. I found a $25.00 20" donor bike on Craigslist for the wheel set...
New but I've been lurking! Retired bricklayer (31yrs) currently employed as Commercial IBC/Structural building inspector since 2006. I am in constant search of the elusive grail bike! I would really enjoy scoring a Surly Karate Monkey but for now my Schwinn's will have to do....
