    I think it would be cool if the Build Journals for all 3 classes were in one place. Obviously the 'Finished Bikes' need to to be broken out by class so the admins can set up the voting booths. The chaos and energy could be fun. I'm sure there are a few builders who will try to keep us guessing...

    DONE!!! This was fun. It's hard for me to participate in the Build-Off as we do an entry into an adult soapbox derby race every year that overlaps the Build-Off almost exactly. So I jammed this in from a few days after our race on Aug. 20 to today. I'm pretty happy with the result. Rode it up...

    The more I look at the star wheels with the circle pattern chainring the more it bugs me. So trying to find a star pattern chainring locally as nothing online will arrive in time.

    Gotta re-do the seat and make mounting brackets for it, find red grips, and solve an issue with the pedals because the pedal adapters I ordered didn't arrive. Their package did but they weren't in it!!!!

    I forgot that I had the slingshot stem so that problem is solved.

    I lucked out on creating the fauxtina. Just some hand sanding with 320 & 220 sand paper and a wire brush. There are a couple different colors under the primer. It did leave some scratches that I don't like so even higher grit next time.
