    I FEEL CHEATED

I know I didn't read the rules closely enough but noon? What the fawk? Thats some stupid shiznit. Maybe this is the push I needed to stop obsessing over this space.

The GoldChrome base was so reflective I almost did the spokes too but I stuck to my plan. My seat is intentionally more purple than my frame because I wanted to move away from pink. I made the spokes bluer to compliment the seat but felt it would clash with the frame so I tried fading it hub to...

Montana Gold - Goldchrome. Had the surface been smooth this would look even better. Since my two-tone hub paint was too copper looking I'm trying to get a similar effect out of gold and purple. Purple is starting to sputter but I won't let that hang on the finished product.

Can't find the exact color you need in stores? Hit up the underground network. Graff kids got stock and they deliver overnight.. Props to my man WSO for coming through where big box stores couldn't. Keeping it underground.

Closer. Not sticking with speckles. Actively searching stores for a suitable metallic flaked gold for the base rather than chrome. Checked out Behr golds. Hammered was interesting, but scares me. Looks and feels clumpy. The other options had so few flakes in them you can count them if you zoom...

Everything's stripped again. Kinda stuck on the hub color. This is a test, sprayed Montana chrome, speckled MTN94 pink, tinted Duplicolor purple. Chrome shone through better than I'd expected. Still searching for the right combo.

    Columbia 🐪 CamelBack - ‘21 2n1

I just learned that ancient Romans used this to determine favorable or unfavorable outcomes, depending on the bird. Made me think of you.

Same colors just more uniform in hue and tone. I didn't spend all that time polishing to settle for almost matching.

Thanks for the wake up call. Removing purple proved to be harder than yellow so I spent more time removing paint than expected. Heats been keeping me away from the workspace. Meeee too. Thanks y'all. I'm hitting it bit by bit.

    Murray Beach Comber/AMC VII

I only have things I put effort into at this point and the Verrazzano bridge gets wiiiindy. I'm worried a gust will catch my banana seat like a sail and throw the whole bike over that flimsy arm on the front tire, bend my fork and leave me stranded across the water.. therefore I rarely ride in...

    A Proper Rat Rod

My final step would be to fake it with nicer nails and a glue gun (<--- cures all) or just glue.

Heck yeah! There are no bike routes through Staten Island and the only options are ferry and bus rack. Once a year I muster the nerve but never follow through for fear of loosening parts or worse. I'd like to know if this is an unfounded fear. What are your results? Should I continue to fear bus...

Is tension from the rack loosening the nut while riding? If so, maybe a second nut between the rack and clamp? But it does look like it's just bending one side of the clamp rather than the whole clamp tightening evenly. Since it's welded, I assume on the front side, I'd try flipping the bolt...

    WINONA RIDER: finished

I found these LEDs with a simple controller board littering an outdoor nighttime event fer free. Concerts and games might see similar waste around arenas. Mine was found around a graduation. The flashlight reflector is a good idea.

    WINONA RIDER: finished

I thought to PM you on this after posting but I got spanked by admin and lost my "delete" privileges. Didn't mean to make it a thing. Good lookin out. I loved me some Veronica Sawyer in the 80s.

Seeing a lot of bogus bike listings on ebay

Curious transferral of liability from employer to employee, product to person. Where the impoverished vilify indigence corporate propaganda has previously prevailed. *Pidgin
