Got a visit from my son...

My son, Kevin, and his wife, Kimee, came up to Iowa from Texas for a visit this week. Of course, they had to break out some of the ol' man's bikes for some fun. And, of course, the ol' man had to break out the camera... :D

    Sting-Rat!

Me and this bike have a LOOOOOONG history together. The frame is all that's left of the 20" Typhoon I got for Christmas in 1966. I found it in my dad's garage attic a few years ago and brought it home. It still has the original Flamboyant Red paint, with 43 years worth of patina. I threw...

Hi gang! I've been surfing this site for months, and now I finally have something to contribute. This is my WCC bike that I recently gave a makeover. It's a fun bike to ride; even more so now. The Fink-Ray

I mentioned in my intro that I built a couple of Stingrays earlier this year; this is one of them. The Schwinng Fink-Ray is a '73 Stingray with a silver glo Pete seat, a 42" sissy bar, 15" apes, NOS silver glitter grips, a repop Slik and head badge, Rat Fink valve caps, an Electra Rat Fink bell...

    Yet ANOTHER newbie here...

Hey guys, I'm a newbie here. I got into Stingrays earlier this year and built a couple of them, then I realized that 26" bikes are a better fit for a 6-foot tall, 47-year old guy. :P This is my '71 Typhoon; an original paint survivor bike that I rescued from a neighbor who was throwing it out...
