How do I prep to repaint a vintage trike?

I've decided to repaint my ride but it looks like a previous owner went wild with a spray can and covered everything primer red including the rims handle bars... you name it, its red. What is the best way to prep it for repainting? Should I remove the wheels and handle bars before painting...

Who do you get your parts from?

I ordered spokes that are coming from China and which are taking forever to arrive and it's got me thinking. Where do you get parts from? I have to buy a new axle and hubs not to mention more spokes and minor things and I like to actually hold the parts in my hand before buying but the local...

Trikes aren't my speciality but I was hoping to tap into everyone elses knowledge. Can anyone recommend a clamp type brake lever?

My husband broke his Huffy mountain bike brake lever (don't ask 😆) and wants a clamp brake lever to replace it so we don't have to remove the grips and fiddle with the gears. However there are so many out there. Anyone got any recommendations?

    Spokes pulled out thru rim

I have a question for anyone. I have developed a interest in fixing bikes/trikes now (having seen what bike repair shops charge for basic work). I was looking at my sister-in-law's trike and it is missing a few spokes on all 3 of the wheels and on looking they pulled out of the rims leaving...

Help! Looking for vintage trike experts

I was going to say welcome to my nightmare. A bit of a backstory. My nephew liked riding this old adult trike but a few days ago trashed one rear wheel. I'd like to fix it but have no idea how to remove the wheel and eventually replace the rim. What should I do?

    Thanks for letting me join

After years of driving everywhere I now got into cycling around so needing advice on maintaining older vintage bikes and trikes. Love doing it but as mechanically challenged as a kid 😆
