Anyone fit a 1 inch steerer tube to a Cycletruck?

I ended up just putting on a short period correct stem and then a cheapo ebay headlight that I thought looked cool. I have a rear "STOP" tail light for a rear reflector off an old Ford too.

Anyone fit a 1 inch steerer tube to a Cycletruck?

So I ran into a major problem and one I did not even think of until after I bought the fork, disassembled and literally installed: The cycletruck's basket bracket at the bottom of the neck prevents it the new fork from steering left or right....ugh. Back to the drawing board. I do not want to...

Anyone fit a 1 inch steerer tube to a Cycletruck?

Will do! The chopper forks I bought are a 1" stem. It was the smallest I could find for what I want to do. Worst case I will have a stem machined at a shop, if not turn this one down 1/16" all around to make it 7/8". Have to see how much material there is. If not, custom stem. Just bought a...

Anyone fit a 1 inch steerer tube to a Cycletruck?

Sorry yes I meant the stem. The stem is 7/8". Ok that is what I needed to know @twojs.bike. Sounds like the 1" stem will not work. Need to turn down a custom stem.

Im not right in front of my bike but I was pretty certain it was 7/8". I would love to be wrong and defer to the experienced.

Anyone fit a 1 inch steerer tube to a Cycletruck?

Hey folks, I am hot-rodding my cycletruck and want to install some chopper forks on it. Do you know if a 1" steerer tube would fit with the appropriate-sized bearing? Or would I need a custom steerer tube made (turned down to 7/8" or whatever the CT size is)? Thank you in advance!

    Cycletruck rat comin' in hot

Hello all! Long time viewer, first time poster. I have a '67 Cycletruck that i've been playing around with. A great friend gave me the frame, and I've gone from there. This is the current version, but I plan to change it again. The "Utica Tools" theme - My granddad drove around and sold Utica...
