I appreciate the ideas, but that just isn't gonna work with this fork. There is a lot of thick steel doubled up under the cowl of this fork.

I'd say give it a try. As you change the angle on the bottom you change the angle on top. Try placing the washers between the Evanaction strut rods and the fork. If that does work, maybe moving the struts to attach on the axle inside the fork legs. I would think one of those could work.
Yeah, what Kingfish said. Think of the Evansaction as a complete forged fork pivoting between the legs of a slightly wider fork. The pivot bolts are also placed at a point where they just exacerbate the problem. I was a little surprised that the 2.125 tire fit between there on a 57mm rim, but I think it looks great on there.
At one point, I had discussed stretching and reshaping both inner and outer forks with a blacksmith friend of mine, but by the time we would have made the fixtures and all to keep everything aligned while putting the crowns into the forge... it would have been easier to just fabricate a wider replica of the original fork than to widen the original.

Time to work on how to attach the flipped skirts onto VerBoten. For now I have these conduit clamps as standoff mounts. I plan to modify them so the screw aren't there.

Tie wrap mockup time before I do any cutting or drilling on the skirts.

I really like the Yin Yang curve if you follow the seat stay curve followed by the skirt trailing edge curve

Wow finally got a chance to catch up on the build, the bars are going be interesting as to what you settle with , but loving the build so far.

Thanks man. I have decided to go with the FlyingMachine Bikes pacer bars, but I'll shorten them by about 6-8"

Converted a conduit clamp to a standoff mount. I still need to modify the other ones.

Removed the fender tabs and trimmed up one of the skirts and mounted it.

Then I did a test mock with a chainguard I remembered that I had.

Chain guard flows well with the skirts, good eye for design again.

Yin Yang describes it perfectly! The whole bike has kind of a "swirl" look to it, like everything is in motion. Maybe the exception is the chainring....straight angles and lines. What about something like this for the ring....not this exact one, the holes are a little too eliptical for your build. But something in a swirl type pattern....just a thought.

...you probably recognize the chain guard....;)

I could always switch to my Monark chainring.
