I always considered the fenders and light the weakest aesthetic elements on an Elgin Robin. I was happy to find a Robin missing the front fender and light... This left me free to remedy the shortcoming as I saw it. I am directionless this weekend, so here I am trying out a couple options...

So many things to say.......first off: a Robin with the tank> LUCKY

....and you are ratting it. The Cabe guys will LOVVVEEEE that!

I like the second set of fenders. Great patina match.

Now, with that being sad.......I have seen pictures taken in front of your fancy cardboard box shelf before. QUIT FARTING AROUND WITH THAT BIKE AND GET THE VETTE ON THE ROAD!:21::acute:

Doug,

If it were mine I would try the blue fenders both moved forward about 8 inches. The front you might have to cut off the leading 8 inches to keep the symmetry and the rear you would have to create the side dimple for the chain clearance, but I think if you run the front with the ducktail matching where the frame curve is you might like the flow.

Try it without cutting stuff and take a side pic for us.

Joe
