1940 Schwinn question

This showed up in the local paper. "1940 Schwinn mens bike. Nice shape. $75.00" Wonder what this could be? I don't really need it, but it might be a cool bike. I think I'll call him tomorrow. If it's a tank bike, I might be interested. Lots of people are unemployed (including me) around here, so I'd be surprised if it's sold. Dean

If it's a boys bike, the frame alone is worth the $75. What do you mean..."I don't really need it, ..." ??? :wink: Gary

if it were in my paper i'd call and talk to some old fella who would swear he got it in 1940 for his tenth birthday, then i'd get there and it would turn out to be a 1960's murray........... but you gotta look
